It's P-R-E-S-I-D-E-N-T

We are fortunate here at The Sixth Notebook to be going to see "Come Back, Little Sheba" at the Kirk Douglas Theater this evening. We will be seeing our highly esteemed friend, actor Alan Rosenberg, do his job, and showing our happy and undying support.

Alan is the president of the Screen Actors Guild (or "prexy", as Variety magazine insists on calling him. We treasure Variety's content but have always been nearly horrified by their style book, completely unable to apprehend how these abominable abbreviations might be truly helpful or practical. They can't be saving that many lines; meanwhile, language peeps such as myself are pained to get through an article, wincing in anticipation of the next botchery). Anyhoo, I'm very much looking forward to the performance, and I will review it here, tomorrow.
